Wanderlust Woods

Wanderlust woods is dreamy!! We stayed in the Slate Crossing dome which I highly recommend. With a breakfast bar overlooking the creek, a peaceful morning is waiting for you. Many laughs and memories were made here. Also, if you like hiking, there is a fun 4 mile hike to a waterfall (pictured). It was beautiful and so much fun!! Can’t wait to come back!!

Super pretty views and the creek is so loud (good thing) only thing i didn’t like was that it wasn’t made clear that there was domes right next to you, but the dome i had originally booked, on arrival, had a hole in the top and the tarp covering it wasn’t attached as the rungs had been ripped out. There was a bad storm headed that direction and i made the Host aware and they were so kind that they moved us to another dome and gave us another night free of charge for the troubles. Absolutely amazing customer service and super responsive and helpful. overall rating would be a 9.8/10. The Moonshine hallow is definitely worth the money. Only thing i would change is the TV, it is 720P and has a few large cracks in it. Other than that, chefs kiss. Would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway!

we spent a very cold december week in Slate Crossing and had an AMAZING time! we were expecting to be cold and uncomfortable due to weather (teens at night) but the domes insulation worked perfectly. once we arrived and kicked on the heaters we were comfortable within the hour, going to sleep was a treat thanks to the provided heated blankets! as someone who has stayed at Wanderlust in every season there will always be something about winters in the smokies I love and wanderlusts ability to keep us warm through sub freezing temperatures was a perfect treat for my girlfriend’s birthday trip!

We had a wonderful stay! The dome was so cozy and had everything we needed. The temps dropped drastically Saturday night but we stayed nice and warm!

We had the best time at Moonshine Hollow. It was the dome itself was stunning and very clean. There are fans for every room/bed which for us nightly fan users was a nice, unexpected perk. The scenery was serene. I spent almost the entire day in the hammock reading by the creek. When we arrived the fire alarms were chirping and the hosts fixed it immediately. They were super helpful and very responsive. We couldn’t recommend Wanderlust Woods more and will definitely be back!

This is our second year staying at Wanderlust Woods. We stayed at Moonshine Hollow dome the first year and at Slate Crossing this year. We loved the stove and hammocks that are in the outdoor space under the dome. It was great for smores and relaxing while listening to the sounds of the creek in the evening. The host and instructions for arrival were excellent both years.

A very beautiful and peaceful place. The creek right outside was easily heard inside and great to listen too. There was no car or human noises and the hosts were very proactive and quick to respond. The dome was wonderful and a great place to stay to experience nature. The biodiversity of the area was stunning.

It was a wonderful stay, top tier Glamping experience! The hosts were very quick to respond. The place was spotless and the A/C worked wonderfully. Comfy bed and the cutest kitchen and shower. As someone who has gone glamping over 10 times in the last 7 years, this is by far my favorite! The babbling brook was so serene and peaceful. Everything was well kept, you can tell they take great care of the space! Only inconvenience is the slope on the road to access, there was a lot of gravel and my ford escape got stuck on the way out. But the other campers helped push us up the hill! It’s possible this was just new gravel that hadn’t settled but worth the mention if someone tries to access with a smaller car I will definitely bring the truck next time!
